Umzinto's a south coast KZN town, tucked among the cane fields not far from Scottburgh and Park Rynie. The N2 gets you there easy, whether you're popping through from Durban or coming up from further down the coast, with the R603 branching inland. Locals nip over to Doonside and Umbogintwini for day trips, while out-of-towners arrive from as far as Ballito, Eshowe, even Cradock. There's roughly 1 fast EV charger nearby, handy before you push on. The old sugar mill still anchors the town's identity.
