Wyesham forms part of greater Monmouth, sitting just over a kilometre from the town centre in the Wye Valley. The A40 provides the main access from the M4 via Abergavenny, whilst the A466 offers a scenic route through the valley from Chepstow. Local routes include the B4293 towards Usk. The area lies within easy reach of the famous Monnow Bridge, one of only three surviving fortified river bridges in Britain.
