Wouldham is a small Kent village in the Medway Valley, reached via the A228 between Rochester and West Malling. From London, take the M25 to Junction 2, then the A2 toward Rochester before joining the A228 southbound. The village sits where the North Downs meet the River Medway, surrounded by orchards and hop gardens. All Saints Church houses a remarkable 13th-century wall painting of Thomas Becket's martyrdom that survived the Reformation.
