Woodacott Cross

Woodacott Cross is a rural crossroads in North Devon where country lanes meet beneath old oak trees. Reached via the A388 and local roads from Holsworthy (15km) or Bude, it serves farming communities around Thornbury, Brendon and Cookbury. The narrow Devon lanes require careful driving, with passing places for oncoming traffic. About a dozen EV charging points are available in the wider area, though Holsworthy offers better facilities. The traditional stone cross still marks where four ancient routes converge.
