Get there via the N2 or the slower R102 coastal road through Amanzimtoti and Kingsburgh. Pinetown (43 km) and KwaMashu (49 km) make for easy day trips, while visitors from Ladybrand or Clarens are usually road-tripping the coast. One fast EV charger is nearby. The Winkelspruit River mouth forms a small tidal lagoon, a favourite spot for local anglers.
