Winestead
England
Winestead is a small East Yorkshire village on the Holderness peninsula, reached via the B1445 from the A1033 Hull-Withernsea road. Most visitors drive from Hull (15km northwest) or cross the Humber Bridge from Lincolnshire. The village sits in flat farming country between the Humber Estuary and Yorkshire coast, with around 20 EV charging points available in nearby towns. All Saints Church contains a remarkable 14th-century rood screen with original painted medieval saints still clearly visible.
