West Wittering

West Wittering occupies the southern tip of the Chichester Peninsula, where Chichester Harbour meets the Channel. Most visitors arrive via the A27 from Chichester, then follow the B2179 south through the peninsula's quiet villages. London drivers typically use the A3 to A27 route, whilst Portsmouth is just 25 kilometres east along the coast road. The village becomes exceptionally busy during summer, when its three-kilometre Blue Flag beach attracts families from across the south.
