West Looe, Cornwall
England
West Looe occupies the western side of the River Looe estuary in southeast Cornwall, linked to East Looe by a medieval seven-arched bridge. Reach it via the A387 from the A38 near Liskeard, or follow coastal routes from Polperro. The working harbour still lands fresh catches daily, with fishing boats mooring beneath cottages that climb the steep valley sides.
