Weldon, NC

Weldon is a small town along I-95 in northeastern North Carolina, making it a convenient stop between Richmond and Rocky Mount. The town sits where Interstate 95 meets US 158, about 90 miles from Raleigh. Most visitors arrive via I-95, while US 158 connects east toward the Outer Banks and west to Durham. The historic Roanoke Canal Trail preserves a 7.5-mile section of an early 1800s canal system that once bypassed the Roanoke Rapids.
