About Waunfawr

Waunfawr is a small Gwynedd village on the A4085 between Snowdonia's peaks and the coast, about 8km from Caernarfon. Most visitors use the A487 coastal route before turning inland, whilst the A55 provides main arterial access. The village sits conveniently on the Welsh Highland Railway route, where restored steam trains regularly pass through the station on their scenic journey between Caernarfon and Porthmadog.
