Wasbank is a small N11 town in northern KZN, handy as a stop between Ladysmith (50 km) and Newcastle, right in coal country. It's an easy detour for a padkos break or fuel top-up, since EV chargers are thin on the ground out here. Ladysmith Airport is about 56 km off if you're flying in. Fun fact, the town gets its name from the Wasbank River, once used by transport riders to wash their wagons.
