Urlingford

Urlingford in County Kilkenny sits right on the N8 between Dublin and Cork, making it a handy stop for anyone doing the long haul between the two cities. You're about 120 kilometers from Dublin and 100 from Cork, with decent connections via the R693 to Freshford and Kilkenny city, and the R694 toward Johnstown. There's good electric vehicle charging here with about 13 fast stations, which is grand for the Dublin-Cork run. The old railway station still stands from when the trains used to pass through before they moved the line in the 1960s.
