Turville nestles in a Chiltern valley that's doubled as countless film and TV locations, from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to The Vicar of Dibley. Reach it via the A4155 from Henley-on-Thames or the M40 to High Wycombe, then wind through beech-covered hills on increasingly narrow lanes. The windmill on the hilltop remains the village's most famous landmark.
