Turton

Turton lies between Bolton and Blackburn on elevated ground beside the West Pennine Moors. The A676 from Bolton provides the main access, connecting to the M61 for longer journeys, whilst the B6391 and A666 serve local traffic. The 15th-century Turton Tower, with its working Victorian kitchen, remains the area's standout attraction.
