Trewern

Trewern is a small Powys village near the English border, positioned between the Severn Valley and Shropshire hills. Access is via the A458 or local roads from the A483 at Welshpool. Most journeys are short local trips, though the village sees cross-border traffic from Shrewsbury. The 13th-century church houses a remarkably preserved medieval rood screen.
