Tremorfa lies on Cardiff's eastern edge, reached via the A4232 Peripheral Distributor Road from the city centre or A48 from Newport. The area sits on low ground between Cardiff Bay and the main urban sprawl, with the A470 providing valley connections. Approximately 200 EV charging points serve the wider Cardiff area. The district neighbours the Cardiff International Sports Village, home to the Wales National Pool which hosted 2012 Olympic events.
