Torrington, WY

Torrington sits in southeastern Wyoming along the North Platte River, serving as Goshen County's agricultural center. US Highway 26 connects it east to Scottsbluff, Nebraska (20 miles) and west toward Casper, while US 85 runs north-south between Nebraska and Cheyenne (85 miles south). The massive concrete sugar factory, operating since 1917, towers over downtown as one of the region's largest sugar beet processing facilities.
