Tokavaig

Tokavaig perches on Skye's southern tip, a tiny coastal village overlooking the Sound of Sleat. Reach it via the A87 to the Skye Bridge, then the A851 south through Broadford—about 45 minutes from Portree. The single-track road winds past crofts and requires patience at passing places. Popular with walkers exploring Sleat Peninsula trails and those catching ferries at nearby Mallaig. The old stone harbour piers recall its days as a herring fishing station.
