Most visitors arrive via M11 Junction 8, then the A120 west towards Bishop's Stortford before turning north on local roads. The area has roughly 40 public fast EV chargers, mainly near Stansted Airport and along the A120. The village contains the atmospheric ruins of a 12th-century Cistercian abbey.
