Thornton Rust

Thornton Rust is a small Wensleydale village reached via the A684 through Hawes or scenic routes from Grassington. The Yorkshire Dales location offers classic limestone scenery and serves as a base for visiting Aysgarth Falls. The village green retains its medieval market cross, a rare surviving example in the dale.
