Thistleboon lies on the Gower Peninsula near Swansea Bay, easily reached via the A4067 from Swansea centre or the M4 at Junction 42. The scenic Mumbles Road hugs the coast whilst the A4118 provides an inland route through Welsh countryside. The Victorian pier stretches 235 metres into the bay with its ornate ironwork pavilion hosting summer concerts.
