Thearne lies between Hull and Beverley in the East Riding, accessible via the A1035 and local roads from the A164. The village serves commuters traveling the Hull-Beverley corridor, with connections to the M62 for longer journeys. All Saints church houses a remarkable medieval rood screen, one of the few to survive the Reformation in East Yorkshire.
