Tanyfron forms part of Wrexham's northeastern suburbs, easily reached via the A483 and A5156. Most journeys are short local trips to Wrexham centre, Brymbo, and neighbouring villages, whilst longer routes follow the A483 towards Chester and motorway connections. The area has over 60 EV charging points nearby and sits about 15km from Hawarden Airport. Former colliery sites have been converted into community spaces that commemorate the region's mining heritage.
