Tan-yr-allt is a small Denbighshire village positioned on elevated ground overlooking the Vale of Clwyd, just inland from the North Wales coast. The A547 coastal road and nearby A55 provide excellent connections to Chester and Bangor, whilst local routes serve Prestatyn and Rhyl. The village name means "under the hillside," reflecting its setting below the limestone escarpment of the Clwydian Range.
