3About Swaton
Swaton is a small Lincolnshire village about 15 miles north of Sleaford, reached via the A153 and local roads. The flat fenland setting offers wide skies and agricultural landscapes typical of the region. RAF Cranwell and RAF Barkston Heath nearby give the area an aviation character. The village church houses a remarkable 14th-century brass of a medieval priest, considered one of Lincolnshire's finest examples of ecclesiastical metalwork.
