Stony Hill

Scotland

Stony Hill lies along the A93 Deeside corridor, about 12km southwest of Aberdeen city centre. This commuter settlement sits on elevated ground above the River Dee valley, popular with professionals working in Aberdeen. The A93 provides the main route through Cults and Milltimber, whilst the A944 offers an alternative approach from the northwest. The area has good access to Aberdeen International Airport via the A90. The settlement takes its name from the granite outcrops that punctuate the surrounding heather moorland.
