St David's

St David's is a small Perthshire village just off the A85 between Perth and Crieff, making it a handy stop for Highland-bound traffic. The surrounding farmland typifies central Scotland's gentle countryside, with the area serving as a gateway to the western Highlands via the A85. The village church houses an exceptional collection of medieval carved stones, including a Pictish symbol stone that's considerably older than the 12th-century building itself.
