Sparkhill forms part of Birmingham's inner suburbs, sitting just two kilometres from the city centre along the busy A34 Stratford Road corridor. The A4040 Outer Ring Road provides quick connections to the M42 and M6 motorways, whilst local routes like Warwick Road handle neighbourhood traffic. The area claims fame as the birthplace of Balti curry in the 1970s, with dozens of authentic Balti houses still lining the Stratford Road.
