Soweto lies just southwest of Joburg CBD, easy to reach via the M1 and N1 onto the M70 Golden Highway, with Chris Hani Road and Klipspruit Valley Road getting you around once you're in. It's a quick 15 km hop from Johannesburg, so plenty of locals commute daily, while visitors come from as far as Douglas and Ladybrand. Over 70 fast chargers dot the greater Joburg area for EV drivers. Fun fact, Vilakazi Street is the only street on earth where two Nobel Peace Prize winners, Mandela and Tutu, once lived just doors apart.
