Southwater is a modern West Sussex village built around an artificial lake, lying just south of Horsham off the A24. Created in the 1980s as a planned community, it offers convenient access to London via the M25 and sits close to Gatwick Airport. The village sailing club on the central lake hosts regular summer regattas.
