South Side

South Side occupies central Edinburgh, just below the Old Town and minutes from the Royal Mile. The A7 provides the main southern route via Nicolson Street, whilst the A702 serves western approaches through Morningside. Edinburgh Airport is 12 kilometres west via the A8. The area benefits from over 200 EV charging points across the city centre. Most notable is its access to the Meadows, where Edinburgh's spectacular cherry blossoms bloom each April.
