Somerdale lies in the Avon Valley between Bath and Bristol, reached via the A4175 or M4 Junction 18. The village centres around the former Cadbury chocolate factory, a striking Art Deco building from 1921 that's now been converted into modern housing and commercial space called Somerdale Pavilion.
