Six Mile Run, NJ

Six Mile Run is a small Somerset County community of about 2,900 people situated along the Millstone River between Franklin Township and North Brunswick. Route 27 provides the main access, connecting quickly to I-287, the Turnpike (Exit 9), and Route 1. Most traffic consists of daily commuters heading to Princeton Junction or New Brunswick train stations, plus weekend trips to Princeton shopping areas. The community gets its name from Six Mile Run Brook, which once marked six miles from the original Raritan River landing point.
