Sigurd is a tiny farming town in Utah's Sevier Valley along US Highway 89, eight miles south of Richfield. It's mainly a pass-through spot where State Route 24 branches east toward Capitol Reef National Park. The town was named after a Norse hero, reflecting early Scandinavian Mormon settlers, and features a distinctive red brick LDS meetinghouse.
