Access via the A361 through Chipping Norton, connecting to the M40 at Junction 9, or the A44 from Worcester. The village developed around medieval wool trading, with characteristic limestone cottages and ancient woodland remnants nearby. St. Mary's Church houses a rare 14th-century stone rood screen.
