Shevington is a Greater Manchester village near the Lancashire border, easily reached via the A5209 from M6 Junction 27. The A49 connects to Wigan and Ormskirk, whilst local routes serve nearby Standish and Appley Bridge. With over 150 EV charging points in the area and good motorway links to Liverpool via the M58, it's popular with commuters. The village retains its character around the 17th-century Forest Fold, a former Quaker meeting house.
