Shardlow is an 18th-century canal village on the River Trent, just off the A6 between Derby (8 miles) and Nottingham (12 miles). The M1 Junction 24 provides motorway access, whilst the A50 skirts the village to the south. With over 250 EV charging points nearby and East Midlands Airport 15 miles away, it's well-connected for modern travel. The village boasts Britain's finest surviving inland port, complete with original Georgian warehouses.
