Seabrook Island, SC

Seabrook Island is a gated resort community 25 miles southwest of Charleston, accessible only by causeway through Johns Island. Take I-526 west to Highway 700, then follow it across several bridges to reach the island's security gate. The drive from Charleston takes about 45 minutes. This barrier island features two championship golf courses and three miles of beach where loggerhead sea turtles nest each summer under a protected conservation program.
