Scotia, SC

Scotia is a tiny Hampton County community of under 100 people in South Carolina's Lowcountry. Located on US Highway 278 about 15 miles from Interstate 95, it sits on the flat coastal plain between Savannah and Charleston. Most drivers pass through on longer trips to Hilton Head or other coastal destinations. The area retains traces of historic plantation roads that once connected inland farms to coastal shipping ports.
