Saxmundham is a Suffolk market town on the A12, roughly 20 miles northeast of Ipswich. The A1120 runs through the town centre, connecting coastal routes via the A1095. Most visitors arrive via the A12 from London or Ipswich, whilst local traffic uses the B1121 toward Wickham Market. The town's Victorian railway station still runs direct services to London Liverpool Street.
