Salisbury

Salisbury sits where five rivers meet in Wiltshire's chalk downland, 90 miles southwest of London via the A303. The A36 connects Bath with Southampton through the city center, whilst the A338 heads north to the M4 and the A354 runs south to Dorset. Local routes include the A345 to Stonehenge and the A30 to Winchester. The cathedral's 404-foot spire - Britain's tallest - dominates the skyline, and the chapter house displays one of four surviving original Magna Carta copies.
