Ruthton, MN

Ruthton is a farming town of 222 people in southwestern Minnesota, reached via Highway 23 about 15 miles northeast of Pipestone. Most long-distance visitors come from the Twin Cities via Highway 14 west or from Sioux Falls via Highway 75 north to local connections. The town's grain elevator towers over the surrounding prairie and serves as a landmark visible for miles across the flat farmland.
