Runswick clings to the North Yorkshire cliffs about four miles north of Whitby, reached via the A171 then a steep minor road down from Hinderwell. This tiny fishing village offers dramatic coastal views but extremely limited parking that fills quickly in summer, making early arrival essential for visitors.
