The A814 from Helensburgh provides the main access, connecting via the A82 from Glasgow, whilst the B833 offers a scenic alternative through the peninsula's interior. The village retains its 17th-century castle bathhouse, one of Scotland's most unusual surviving outbuildings with ornate stonework.
