Rose-in-the-bush is a small Cornish village on the Lizard Peninsula, reached via the A3083 from Helston or the A394 from further afield. It's surrounded by typical peninsula countryside and sits near RNAS Culdrose naval air station. The village gets its charming name from the old Cornish belief that wild roses found growing in gorse bushes brought particularly good luck.
