Rook End

Rook End is a small Essex village near the Hertfordshire border, about 40 miles northeast of London. Reach it via M11 Junction 8 and the A120, or take the B1383 from surrounding villages like Newport and Debden. London Stansted Airport lies just a few miles south, making this a convenient stopover for air travellers. The 13th-century St. Bartholomew's Church, with its distinctive Norman tower, dominates the village centre.
