Rogersville is a small Ozarks community 20 miles east of Springfield via Highway 60, the main route connecting it to the region's largest city. Route 125 runs north-south through town, while I-44 access lies 15 miles north for longer trips. The town of nearly 5,000 sits along Finley Creek in rolling hill country, where James Rogers built the original mill in 1839 that still anchors the downtown area.
