Rhosymedre is a small village in northeast Wales, part of the Wrexham conurbation in the Dee Valley. The A539 runs through the village, connecting Wrexham city centre 2km east with the route toward Llangollen. For longer journeys, drivers use the A483 dual carriageway via Wrexham for connections to Chester or Shrewsbury, whilst the A5 through nearby Ruabon offers an alternative route. The village sits close to the UNESCO World Heritage Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in Trevor.
