Ravenstonedale

Ravenstonedale is a Cumbrian village on the A685 between Kendal and Brough, sitting in the Eden Valley within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Most visitors arrive via the M6 at Junction 38, following the A685 eastward through rolling fell country. The village serves as a gateway to the Howgill Fells and lies just 8km from Kirkby Stephen. The historic Black Swan Inn, dating from the 17th century, remains a focal point for this former coaching stop on the trans-Pennine route.
