Rathkenny is a small County Antrim settlement about 10km northeast of Ballymena, reached via the A42 from the A26 trunk road. The village sits amongst rolling farmland between the Antrim Hills and Sperrins, with good links to the M2 for Belfast or north to the Causeway Coast. Several traditional Ulster Scots farmsteads in the area have been working continuously for over two centuries.
